This chapter from the Bedford Book of Genres reviews what it means to do remixing and revising when it comes to writing papers. The concept of revising your work is something that not a lot of college students may do, due to many different reasons ranging from laziness to the time crunch of certain deadlines. I think of revision as one of the most important steps when it comes to writing. It can be done by oneself, or with the assistance of a friend or professional. In my opinion, revising through peer grading is one of the best ways that any writer can grow not only their paper being reviewed but their writing skills as a whole.
